Below is extract of my reply to someone who seek help. This is part of our 2nd or 3rd correspondance. It showed many people get cheated and let go because of friendship !!
My reply - "Many people are in the same situation like you. Let go and forget because of friendship, then why complain or seek for help ? Excuse me for being a bit harsh in my words. You mention, after all he is earning a living. If he is earning a living and still active there, he can dispose the stock to others without any problem. If he can't, his upline or further upline will get it solved, because they are still in the business. Do you know that in their business, their biggest fear is people seeking refund, RM2,000+ to them is a small amount, they will refund you if you insist for it.
In fact, IF you still treasure that frienship, all the more that you should hold her responsible to get your money back. This way, you taught him a lesson and may even save him from "drowning" further into the business, don't you think so ? If he gets deeper into the business, he will "victimize" more friends and lose more friends. At the end, everyone is a loser, only the Company makes the profits. Do you realize that ? Will you wish to see this Company "victimising" more people ?
Pls refer to Lampebergerhelp if you are serious about getting your money back. Even if the money is not important to you, think of the social harm it has been creating now. Have you seen those SinChew reports published last week ?"

"Thanks for replying my mail promptly. Well, I was convinced in the first place that the plan looks pretty ok, that's why I pay RM2000++ for it. On top of that, I am the kind of person who is soft hearted and couldn't bear to reject ppl, so I fall for it. (I often get that statement from my close friends that that is my weakness, so it should be true to some certain extend) But after much consideration, I placed RM2500 on a friendship which the 'friend' merely go dissappear after I signed up and went for two events (NDO and some sharing session).He is still contactable though but I kinda give up asking him for refund as I will end up being persuaded that the plan works.So, no point asking him again for refund.
However, back to the questions that you posted to me. I check thru my receipts, they were in my own name but only for starter kit and membership. None of the products that I have is listed. Busted! I guess my stocks were from the uplines after all. No wonder some products are manufactured way back in 2003. GOSH!! I am not able to get the refund in my case, is it? =(
I am not very sure on breaking the friendship with my upline as we had a pretty good friendship before. There's a few of us that studied uni together and I am struggling with myself as I do not want to involve the others into the picture. Therefore, I am only hoping to get the refund of my products as I do not use it. I am really sorry if I am wasting your time.
