I got another email about Lampe Berger. You can actually summarize this is what is all about the business scam.
It's a product disguised pyramid scheme. The product is to legitimise it. But the whole idea...is getting people to sign up (who has to pay up high fees), so the upline can earn part of it. And the company earns also. And from this never ending chain...it has to end somehow....the bottom are the losers.
Why, are some people so easy to be cheated?
Greed, and not street smart.

Just yesterday I met an old friend and he took me out for a drink, he started talking about how only money matters and that it's no point having a job you are passionate about. He talked a lot too. He was never like that, he had a strong passion for animation and even attended animation college. He was always quiet and kind. But now he really talked up a storm and when I said he has changed from his timid self, he said that is life and you have to change to survive.
He took me to SYN and some guy called stanly there gave me the sales pitch. It took almost 4 hours and after that they went out for tea again and so I was with them for a total of 7 hours. He said the same things my friend said to me and that is when i figured out who brainwashed him. After getting back home and thinking clearly about everything they said, after filtering out all the fancy words and propositions like "It's a franchise", "RM2500 is a small price to pay for a license", "You are buying our system", "We are not a direct sales company", I understood exactly what this company does. It's basicly a recruitment pyramid scheme that would be illegal if they did not give you anything for the $2500 you pay to sign up with. They say they are selling a franchise, a system to help you do buisness and set up a network. But their system is nothing more then the knowledge of how to recruit more people with a shady sales pitch. They spend all their time talking to each other about how to do buisiness when in reality there is no buisiness to do. They do not get income from the public as they do not sell anything, they do not realize that they are the prey and their so-called leader Steven Yeam is the hunter. They say by signing up you get the E-Card which is a license and you can buy Lamp Bergers at distributor prices but there is no point in doing that as they have also mentioned that they do not do direct sales.
But you knew all of that having been through it. The reason I am writting to you is to ask you if you have any advice on what I can do to help my friend? He is like all the others a total zombie now. He doesn't listen to what I have to say and I can't get through to him at all. You mentioned they will ask you to invest 30k laters? IS there any chance you could fill me in on what happens next? He just joined about 1 or 2 months ago, if there is anything I can do to prevent him from losing all of his life savings, I would like to atleast try. So please, any help at all would be extremely appreciated.

i dont know what exactly happend inside. my friend and her sisters and brother joined the Lampe Berger for almost 5 years. Heard tat they are doing well, one get vios, one get altis, one get camry. But so many years liao, i still not join them..haha

Did any of you see the show Ed on Astro yesterday (15/11). It was talking about how Ed's brother was being charged for running a pryamid scheme where the focus was "selling the right to sell the product", i.e. recruitment instead of selling the actual product.
A good comedy but nevertheless, reminds us on what pryamid scheme is all about, which is "selling the right to sell the product" and not selling the actual product.

im in hard situation right now.
surrounded by lb people most of the times no matter in college, daily life or nightlife. few good frens of mine are doin lb as well as my bf. he brought me to the office and his fren started to crap for hours. i followed my bf to hang out and club with his frens all these days, its fun but i wonder will they still treat me the same way as if i dont wanna be their partner. im in hard situation right now..im glad that my bf and frens are doin well in the company but im not into it. 2k is not a big deal but im just not interested u know. im torn in between right now..help me..im really afraid that i havta lb someday =_=

I personally like Lamp Berger, I used to use the product before I knew they sell it thru MLM in Malaysia. The one I used was a gift from a French friend.
I don't quite like DCHL. SOmeone I trusted manipulated me. I was quite lucky to get back 90% of my money even though I should get them all back.
There is a regulation in their system that if items are returned, the sales accumulation maybe recalculated, which may cause a Marquis to go back to Count, etc. So what they do is selling all promotional items to the naive new recruits so that they cannot get back their money thru refund. Not all the items are promotional but this is what they will tell the person who wants to quit. Items are promotional, so you can't return them.
to all who had just joined LB, a word of advice, if by the 5th month you cant recruit anyone, u better return all the goods back. although you will lose some, its better than getting none back. and pls, when u joined, remember to redeem those LB oil (so u may return them back later) rather than those Estee Belle skin care( trust me, no one would buy skin product that cost that much n never been hear< might as well buy SK@). I know no matter wat we said, u had been brainwashed to join, this is just another step to protect urself when u will wake up later.

if lucky to have motor hahahah! im using motorbike, but doesnt mean im poor! i like to drive scooter and it no cheap, i bought if cash RM7k plus. and i got another one more Superbike cost around RM20k over. while i only drive kelisa 1.0 year 2005 car.
so LB'ers i was wondering if they have enough money to buy 2nd hand kancil with $180 installment per month. ok maybe u r lucky to get a 2nd hand BMW, but mark my word. the day u cant afford to pay it, my bike (scooter) is still in good condition and still have 4k market value :D:D

First of all as a MLM member before this, I was doubtful with their marketing plan, it seems more like pyramid scam or ‘skim cepat kaya’. Ur investing 2k plus just to con others and get products u don’t actually need. They call this a business? First of all they have too many names to confuse people DHCL? RZ Corp? Lempeberger? SYN? etc. And they don’t reveal anything until u get there, to much secrecy. The biggers losers would be the middle classs people, invested their hard earned savings. Their moto ‘if u cheat others u live ,if not u die’ , Blood money anyone?
