We have seen too much trouble caused by DCHL distributing Lampe Berger in Malaysia. It's time to hit back at this unethical MLM network marketing business pyramid plan.

The reason why Mercedez is so expensive here is that our Government enforce about 200% tax for each car. Hence it increases it selling price and the we know that if we are going for imports then this is what we need to pay.
But for that "LAMP", did our government apply taxes for 200% or more? If yes I dont mind paying the extra.
The bottomline is that you are diluted by these people. Why would you want to pay more for a product which has the same brand and quality??
It is understood that people go for LV is because of the brand, that is why it is so expensive. Now, will you buy a LV at RM2k if you can cheaper yet authentic LV?? It has happen even now, most stewardess will go to Paris to get their LVs if they have a chance becuase is cheap.

Just face it that DCHL has the sole distributorship for LB in ASIA and they are inheriting a MLM/pyramid structure.
When I buy a Mercedez Im being tax by government and I cannot change that but if there is a way for my to seek/get cheaper Mercedez I would.
For LB is different, I get to choose. If I purchase online it is dirt cheap compare to DCHL price but if the price comes to the same then I would buy it from DCHL.
Why pay more? Will you pay USD 0.80 for a can of COKE?

Well, frankly speaking. I think the price is hiked up because of the system itself. the payout for commisions for sales itself. Infact, all network marketing/multi level marketing/direct sales does this. Not just LB. In any sales activity, it is quite normal to gain commision from sales. Because the price of a product has already included in the sales & commision payout.
In addition,as far as LB is concern. The price are much more higher than other countries because they are directly importing it from france. Meaning higher logistic cost. and because of the nature of the product (flameable ), highly specialized compartments for shipping it is used . Thus means more money going for logistics.
comparing it to mercedes? hmm .. i heard that line before. it doesn't make sense. when the import duty of imported car is nearly 300% (But prices of car may be slightly cheaper seeing from the recent developments). I think anonymous has been told to say it that way by their upline. My suggestion is you learn a little bit more about the business and find out the facts first.

How they succeed? They succeeded by scamming ppl lar... the initial members who got scammed by their upline seek to scam new prospects (downline) in order to recoup and to gain more.

This is quite a blog. I have been noticing this blog since it was set up. In my blog i have talked about marketing schemes by MLM.
The current trend of MLM is to try and get as many "professionals" or people with degrees to join. Why? it gives the organisation more credibility. Funny how sometimes these schemes are just out there to ruin those with the least money and the highest expectations.
People ought to know that besides the Insurance direct marketing schemes, all other schemes have failed and do not last for more than 1 or 2 decade. Honestly i asked those people who are in Lampe Berger to know that one day, maybe a few years later, to know that Fat4 has said this before.

You do not understand how much is RM32k for a lot of us buying some worthless item which has not been proven of its medicinal effects. Ok.. a pyramid scheme is whereby the distributor who sold the product to the end user gets pay lesser than his/her uplines.
In LB/SYN/DCHL or whatever you like to call it.. the plan clearly shows that bonuses/commisions actually gets lesser and lesser from the 1st generation of your downlines till the 6th...
1st gen 5%,2nd gen 3%,3rd gen 2% ... blabla... I think this is fair enough.. and the bonuses end after 6 generations.. So its not
a structure which downline distributors work their a*s off while the uplines are earning most of the sales commision.
Yes its true we do made use of "Leveraging" but we leverage more on our time/abilities but not fully on income. For example,a marquis challenge requires
468750pv to complete.. That's not something we can do it by our ownself (Maybe some can).. So your entire network will help to achieve this sales amount.. You managed to complete your Marquis challenge while your network of downlines earn commisions by doing this much sales.. Therefore its a win-win situation..
Those who really made it big in this business.. the Dukes for example.. most of them have only 5 direct partners.. This shows that the key to success is that you
run your network well and be more willing to help your partners..
After all, when you get 5 partners to sign distributorship under you.. you are responsible for their investment.. So make sure that your partners dun "die" in this business.. Dun just make empty promises!
As for the pricing policy.. I believe ken already explained it well.. and if you guys really go thru the plan.. you guys will find that consumers of Lampe Berger actually get to accumulate PVs even if they are not interested in the business.. after they accumulated up to certain amount of PVs.. they get discount from 20%-38%+ .. so its not really that expensive..

The blogger owner said that the cheapest lamp u can buy online cost Rm133.76, DCHL retails it Rm222. DCHL gives a 10% discount for every members, so that makes it Rm199.8 per diffuser(lamp).
1st thing when u buy a Lampe Berger online, did u include the shipping cost? Look at the shipping info provided by http://www.mywood-n-treasures.com. Shipping rates for orders $30-$34.99 would cost $7.50. That makes it Rm28.50, so total up it would be Rm133.76 + Rm28.50 = Rm162.26, and that is only for shippings withing US continental. Do you think that shipping charges will be any cheaper than $7.50 to bring it to Malaysia? Nah I dun think so...
Rm162.26 and Rm199.8, you compare it urself.
As for the repeat sales part (the refills).. The 1l oil cost $31.90 in US, so shipping rates would be $7.00, bout Rm147.82. DCHL selling the oils at Rm237, with 10% discount u get Rm213.3. Bear in mind "highly specialized compartments for shipping is used" for flameable items (quote) So do you think these lamps and refills got "No Value?CHEAP?"
Nah, still I dun think so..
Plus, like the above guy said, as a member of DCHL, the more you use, the more discount priviledge you have. What if I accumulated 2345pv and get 20% discount? What if I have 29% and 38% for being a loyal customer.
All above examples are only calculated with the 10% discount new members got. So worth it or not? Do your own calculation.
As for signature/specially designed lamps, their title says it all. It's signature, what can you expect? Just like the LV bags comparison between Malaysia and France by the air-stewardess. The "Who's your customer" section also said, only High Class Malaysians would buy them.
Its not often to see distributors carrying signature lamps to sell them to their friends/customers. Or include signature lamps in the Franchise package. Not possible right?
The difference between signature lamp sold there and here is really quite huge. But for normal income Malaysians, a normal(cheapest) lamp plus some oils to use it urself is quite affordable right? Usually supplementary tablets, or other health product cost about the same too ain it?
Well Im not into MLM, Im just a user of Lampe Berger products, I dun really think it is fair to attack a company just bcos different countries got different pricing policy. Use ur maths to calculate it urself.

The thing is, how could you recruit members to join, and sell these expensive stuff. It's not like 200, 300, it can up to thousands.
And furthermore, where these kiddos gonna get 30k.

If that's his money, go ahead. But this affects others.
DCHL is not your own business in a sense, you are just another distributor.
And you guys don't sell lamps, most of it is the marketing plan.
Try selling lamps, without the marketing plan...see how far it goes.
I've just stumbled upon this website & find this whole discussion very entertaining and amusing. I am in Lampe Berger and was told by one of my collegues,(who is one of those that isn't really making money but tries to bullshit his friends into signing up buy driving a bmw 3 series old model, 0% free i may add so anyone with a 5k income can more than afford, and also goes around bullshitting people he makes 30k a month!). These are the people in our company that give us a bad name. They rope all this poor college kids in who can barely afford the 2500 to join and they in turn go and get their poor friends to join. I agree with the earlier person who said this business is for the upper class and that is exactly what i am and people who I rope in are. Of couse we know we are selling you the product at a permium! The difference goes into the company's pocket as well as mine, and yes, the joining fee too! Is it a pyramid scheme? If you ask me morally, I would say yes it is, If you ask me legally,it is not. We get around it by selling that silly lampe. Anyway, some people who have smokers in their house and also those facing respitory problems would gladly pay the premium as it really works, even if it is funding my brand new CLS, which is a fantastic car I may add, those of who can afford it should get one(highly unlikely since u guys are making such a big deal about the 30k joining fee).
SO the bottom line, all the people in this business who are on this blog, stop pretending that we are not charging a high margin on this which we clearly know we are! Also stop roping in poor people! I hate seeing these embrios who just finished their studies and wear a black coat and try to bullshit people that they are doing so well. you may earn 20-30 k in one month but you will never reach the league of us big boys. To the rest of you guys, keep it up and continue dissind all these poor people and hopefully they fuck off from our company. This product is to complement the lifestyle of the rich and the famous, not just any dog on the street!

It's good to know someone in LB who is capable of speaking decent english.
The problem with a pyramid system is, your growth has no limit, and sooner or later, its' tentacles will start going for the middle class. It already has.
It's definitely a rich man's game, but the segment for this rich is small.
Just a question, are you sure, all your downlines are in the same league as you?
I don't think so although I do feel some of them pretend to be in our league. However, once recruiting of the upper class is maxed out, we then sustain by just consuming the product. After all, we've all made our money, and the last level will only benefit from the discounts on the lamps they buy. Kind of like joining the hilton membership and receiving a discount on rooms, except this is inflated for my benefit and my company's benefit.
As for me however, most of my clients for some reason love the lamp juice and keep consuming it. As I mentioned before, it really helps in a "smoking friendly" environment! so most of them light up the juice in the office.
Much more effective then the water that spins in a bowl(manufactured by Cosway I think) that poor people use.
Anyway, in the future, I may not make money from the recruiting aspect of the business, but i will still make money from my rich clients who will still continue to buy the product and refills. I won't make as much but who cares, we've got too much anyway! I'm not even working now,I'm wasting my time on this blog and freaking money is still being thrown at me.
So I stress again, if you have no money,no disposable cash, like steven's brother, don't throw away your dad's hard earned money to me! Go get a real job and work from large companies owned by people like myself and members of my company and if you follow this path, like your brother said, you will never be in our league!

My view of DCHL in malaysia, it's basically a pyramid system, sucking out our malaysian money to taiwan DCHL, and part of it earned by Lampe Berger France.
I don't view things on the lower level , and on the marketing plan itself.
Just look from above, and you will see how things are well planned.

Well, for some foolish reason, I joined as a franchisee in DCHL in Singapore. I almost wanted to get S$15K to position myself as a count. Thank God, I looked for the right person. I told him of my plans, to use the 15K o spin more cash to start up on my own dreams later on in life. My friend (let's call him TY), woke me up. TY told me that why wasn't I using my talents to work on my dreams NOW instead of cashing in on the MLM crap shit. Why hesitate to build up more cash when what I need now is more exposure and skill? I woke up then. I realised that the fundamental driving force behind this entire MLM scheme is money. As what my ex-upline marquis (i've quit u see. Thank God, my upline, my good friend understands my position. He refunded me the cash for $500++ worth of unused products. I'm just super lucky,ok?)said, "Money may not buy everything. But it can give you POWER. It can help u chase your dreams, etc etc." Money. Power. It all boils down to greed.
One thing that really bothers me was this. My ex upline Marquis was congragulating me, saying ,"Great! I've seen a change in you. You are now so much more focused and determined in what you want now. I feel so happy for you." for I decided to borrow S$15K from TY. I left her later and happened to meet TY on the streets. TY tokked me outta it and I was rudely awakened. I realised I was blinded by the very thing that I didn't like. Greed. Imagine what my ex-marquis said when I told her what TY told me. She said, "I think you are not sure with what you intend to do in MLM. "
Wow. An amazing 180 degree change in language. One moment she was congragulating me, cheering me on, next moment she was telling me I am lost. Great. Just great.
No. I'm not saying the MLM mechanism is bad. It's fundamentally / in a business way, flawed. But it should have been a real good way of doing business, to introduce good, products to your friends. The ethical flaw lies in greed. People want to get more people to join to cover up their losses and to earn a profit, to become a Marquis or whatsoever. When you become so driven to achieve that goal, you leave out many things in life. Which is sad.
I feel that I should get my friend out of the percieved business but yet, I can't because he doesn't see anything wrong with MLM. I so want to get all these people out of the scheme. But I can't they are all stuck in the rat race that they are trying so hard to get out of. Sighs if only life could be simpler without money.

I'm also ex-anti MLMer just like you all. Proud to be antiMLMers. "MLM is conbusiness" and "StudioTraffic is PONZI SCHEME!" Hehehe... :)
