Essential Oil Scam in Taiwan
The land of the fighting lawmakers, Taiwan, has recently broken a news about a disabled family (yes, this means the entire family consists of disabled members) fallen prey to the ever-growing essential oil scam in the region.
Apparently, a former Pro Baseball player known as “Little Guy” has cheated the family over NT$ 3 million, which is about Malaysian Ringgit 300,000.00. While this may not be a huge sum of money for certain people, it literally bankrupted the poor family based in Gaoshiong.
The product he sold to the family is a certain essential oil that has healing effect.
While fellow blogazine editor works hard to find someone to help us substantiate the claims of the miraculous healing factor of the horrendously expensive oil, there are people in Malaysia who seem to be happy burning money away too.
In fact, if you look closely at the screenshot shown above, you’d notice the logo of the products the family bought (we have highlighted the products in RED boxes) looks conspicuously like a famous essential oil brand that is also making waves in Malaysia, known as Lampe Berger.

Malaysian laws are not advance enough to act in this kind of scheme and company.
One of the earlier and famous ponzi scheme in Malaysia, was Pak Man Telo.
Even he was charged "taking deposits without a licence".
As for LB, they have the products to mask the pryamid. And even if goverment to check, they would find money being paid fot distributor to buy stocks/items. Wether the distributor can sell them or not, is not a relevance of cheating.
And if members say that they are being mislead that they can earn money, they have signed a document that says the company does not guarantee the income.
Normally something like this would need an insider (with documents)who would betray the company to provide evidence that the system is designed only for very few people.
The evidence would be in their records. This is a record of all the members, how much each make, what is the failure rate. Meaning that to prove that the company despite knowing the real statistics of network marketing still continue to mislead people.
But then even this "mislead" part is hard to prove because everything on paper is legal.
Because if the upline misleading, he is not employed by the company.
The only thing that the company does on paper is to supply the products. I wonder even if the power point presentation is considered from the company or the presentation of the upline.
They papers can not publish the name of company that the public "claimed" to be cheated.
If somebody would want to take SYN to court, if it goes inside the records of court, then it can be publish in papers.
If anybody would want to write a book and have it publish like an ex-Emerald Amway distributor, that would do enough damage.
But we do not have something like "freedom of speech" in this country. We can be sued for libel.

This site is really full of raving youngsters taking out their disappointment in the nasties way and without being abjective.
First of let's make it clear.
I have used LB for a couple of years now and so have some family friends. My wife in in the business and I assist her to some extent.
We got involved in the business because the product worked for US.
It helped with allergies and with our oldest kids ecsema.
This is however not a miracle cure that will help against anything.
Similarly, it may not help all people with allergies etc.
The problem with any networking business is however that it is up to the individual members ethics how they "sell" the product and the business.
We have however never been pushed to nor to sell.
If our "upline" had been pushy, we would simply have decided not to join in.
Similarly we have met with seniors from Malaysia and other countires. Not one time have they been pushy about the business.
In fact if there is something they have pushed for it is integrity and professionalism.
It is unfortunate that you have had some bad enounters, but from what I have seen in this blog (so far) the issues seem to be with individual members making promises that don't substantiate, not really the LB product as such.
Secondly, I think you should look at the actual business system.
Not many other NW businesses are as flexible.
No min purchases, you can work your way up to 20-38% discout(comission) just by using the product without sales, reached comission levels are for life etc.
When my wife told me she wanted to join in a NW business, I requested to have a good read through the business plan etc before she comitted to anything. Afterwards, i don't see how she can loose. We already used the product and all she had to do was join in and start getting discounts. She is now "count level" with 38% comish and I have so far not heard any of her customers or downlines complain.
I'm in the corp.I live somewhere in ************ and I have proof/evidence that can shut down SYN here in Malaysia..You don't have to worry about where i get the proof but you can say that I'm in certain rank close to someone. But I won't reveal this here or anywhere else because of certain "people" will get to me and link me to "it" leaving me with nothing. I will keep my mouth shut and all the evidence hidden until i get a safe passage out with a few "earnings". The reason why i say this here is to "hid" something and knowing all the clues i have is safe here.
